Keeping in mind low awareness of health benefits and shrinking consumption pattern of the age old oil, Mustard Research and Promotion Consortium (MRPC) organized a conference on the Current Scenario of Mustard at Jaipur, Rajasthan on September 30, 2006. The conference was sponsored by NAFED And co-sponsored by RAJFED and Tilam Sangh.

On the occasion of 12th Rapeseed Congress at Wuhan, China, MRPC organized a award ceremony to confer J K Puri Memorial Lifetime Achievement Award for outstanding contribution in the field of rapeseed-mustard.
